Hello there! I'm so happy to be joining Pinkfresh Studio and My Sweet Petunia/MISTI today. Such a delightful collaboration! I LOVE my MISTI and don't stamp without it :). I used the beautiful Just Because stamp set and coordinating die from Pinkfresh along with the Mini MISTI to create my card.
I stamped my floral image on watercolor cardstock using watermark ink and then heat embossed it using white embossing powder. Using the MISTI allows me to stamp my images more than once to get a very nice, clear, image before heat embossing. I then sponged on ink in soft pinks for the flowers and pale green for the leaves. I added water and let the magic happen. I love how the colors blend and change and truly become art :).
My card base was created using Pinkfresh Studio's Slim Ornate Banner Dies. I just love the sweet scallops across the bottom edge. On my center layer, I stamped and heat embossed my florals on pink carsdtock. I love the delicate, lacy feel this gives. I then added a vellum layer on top before adhering my florals.
I snipped my stamped and die cut flowers apart in order to arrange them on my card front how I wanted. This is a fun way to use your stamps differently. My sentiment is from the Layered Bouquet stamp set and was stamped on a die cut Fancy Label Frame. The MISTI allows such clean, crisp sentiments....love it! I love the tiny Bar Magnets from MISTI as well. To finish, I embellished my card using the Essentials: Crystal Mix from Pinkfresh.
